Thanksgiving

Another Thanksgiving feast has come and gone. There has been much to be Thankful for this year, it is so nice to have a holiday that recognizes thanks! We had Thanksgiving at my mom's this year. It was a lot of fun. Lawson and I came down early so that I would have a little bit more time to spend with my family so Scott came Wednesday after work. I had such a great time with my family, and I need to thank them for keeping Lawson entertained for me!:)

Lawson has just discovered Toy Story and he absolutely LOVES it! Grandma found her old Buzz and Woody that the little boys had and he has not forgotten them since!

One of the traditions that we have every year is making Christmas candy at my Grandma Schmutz's. It is a lot of fun and I am glad that I can share in the experience with them.

Ok, so I have tried for an hour trying to post something but my dumb computer is being soooooooooooo slow. So then I thought that I will just check out other peoples blogs, but nooooooo I cant even do that either. BOOO. I am just frustrated and mad now, so I will try again later...

Scott's B-day and Other Things

It was Scott's 27 birthday last wednesday! Yea, Happy Birthday! We didn't do anything really special, he had to work all day then go to class :( So we just had a little party for him when he got home. Birthday's are not as fun when you get older.

Soooo, I wish that Lawson would just use his utencils! He knows how, he just doesnt like too becuase I think that it is just much faster for him to get the food to his mouth using his hands!

I am always trying to find something fun and different for Lawson to do, so I got him some fingerpaints to see if he would like it. He liked it for about a minute but then decided that the markers were a lot funner and not as messy.

Halloween Fun

As many of you know, Lawson was a Dinosaur for Halloween. He really did love his costume so that was good, or else it could have been a very long night.

After taking a few pictures he decided that he had had enough and stomped crying into the yard to get away. haha It was hilarious.

Lawson had a blast Trick-or-Treating. We later went to Scott's aunt and uncle. Scott's aunt took Lawson with her and her daughter and friends around the block with them. He had sooo much fun doing that that I think we will just tag along with them next year.

We actually carved pumpkins the day before Halloween, there just never seems to be enough time the day of. I am glad we did, we had so much fun.

Of course Lawson has to help and be right in the middle of things.

Back in Action

I know it has been forever since I have last up-dated and I apol-o-gize!! Things have been pretty crazy around here. Scott has started school once again in our household. He has two on-line classes and so he is on the computer about every night. I am doing/helping with his on-line English class, so any free time I have to myself I am doing English...blah... So I haven't really found the time to update or check on my fellow bloggers :( ... I now can't even blog with Lawson up and around. He cries the whole time while I am on the computer, and if I let him up on my lap or the chair he pulls my hair and bangs on the keys. What a kid. But, now I think I have found a night where I can have the computer to myself for a bit, so hopefully I can now keep up! I have actually missed blogging and reading other peoples, so it will be nice to get back into it! Here are just a few pics that were taken in my month and a half of MIA.


A board fell on Scott at work. Ouch! Oh and Scott has gotten a new job! He quit work with his Uncle and got a job with a commercial construction company. He thought that the experience would be better for him when he graduates. It was a little bit crazy for awhile, but things are going so much better, they just offerened him a job in their office so he is way excited about that!
We finally got Lawson a booster seat a couple of weeks ago. He loves it!


We had a little party for the NFL season opener. The giants played so we of course had are Giant colors on! The Giants were 4-0 until Monday when they were defeated by the Browns..... Boo to the Browns. I am still having a hard time recovering from the loss and Eli's 3 yes 3 inteceptions!!

Week With Grandma Peg and Smoot Reunion

This past Saturday was the Smoot Fam Reunion(Scott's mom's fam) at Cherry Hill. We had a lot of fun swimming, golfing, and just spending time together.

Of course Lawson has a blast whenever water is involved. He loved going down the slides and splashing around in the kiddie pool. He is definitely his own free spirit!

Later we played mini golf . Lawson was into it for a bit, but then got easily distracted by other much more exciting things, like trying to take everyone's ball and getting into everything! But we did have so much fun with Scott's family!




Also last weekend my mom came up and stayed for a whole week!! It was sooo nice and sooo fun to have her here! We went shopping, got our toes did, and went to see Mama Mia! (which I loved). It was great fun to have her here and we miss her already.
