GO GIANTS!!!!

Ok, so many people don't know(except my family and a few others) but I am a huge NEW YORK GIANTS FAN! When Scott and I got married almost four years ago, I started to watch football with him and soon found myself to be it's biggest fan. Football is mine and Scott's hobby that we really have fun with. Somehow I connected with the Giants and I have been a fan ever since and now they are going to the Super Bowl!! I am sooo super excited!!! They have had such an exciting post season and it would be so nice if they could finish it off with a Super Bowl win, but no matter the outcome I will still be their fan:) (but let's not think of that yet) I don't want to jinx them but.. Go Giants!!

To Kanab and Back

So I am finally back home again from Kanab. My Grandma Lawson just passed away earlier this month so we all went down to her funeral on the 12th. It was a really nice funeral. I got to give a tribute and Scott even led the music:) I am going to miss her so very much it still doesn't even seem like she is gone. But I know that she is so much happier and she is with her dear husband. I guess the one good thing that came out of it though is that I got see all of my family members and extended family, some of who I haven't seen in years, so that was kinda fun. Jared and his family came in from Kentucky and stayed a whole week, so of course I stayed as well! It was soooo good to see them and actually spend time with them. I haven't seen them in such a long time. I wished so bad that they lived closer. It is good to be back home though and Scott has been so good to have let Lawson and I be gone so much!


My brother Jared and his wife Adrianne.They have a 2 1/2 year old daughter Gracie who is just adorable and they are expecting another girl the end of April. They live in Kentucky. Jared is a dentist stationed at Fort Knox where he is fulfilling his duty to the army for four years.

Home Sweet Home

Well we finally returned home on Friday from our little holiday vacation! It was so fun to spend time with both of our families but it is also nice to be home as well. I spent a week in Kanab with my family then the Sunday before Christmas we went over to Scott's parents in Cedar to spend Christmas there. It was fun to get together with Scott's entire family, especially when we don't get to see them very often. Lawson had a fun Christmas although he was more interested in the wrapping and boxes than he was the toys themselves. Oh and we spent half the time doing the finger sweep to his mouth to recover wrapping paper and other weird objects that he found to put in his mouth! The day after Christmas though Lawson started to get sick. We took him to the insta-care down in Cedar and he had come down with the croup! Poor little guy this was the first time he had gotten sick. So for the rest of our time we took turns holding him and caring for him. Scott and I all eventually got sick as well as that is why it has taking me so long to get something going on the blog! But we are finally all doing better and Lawson is almost back to his old self again. Ahhhhh I hated it when Lawson was sick, I would rather be sick a hundred times than for Lawson little baby to be sick and you can't really do anything about it! But I guess you can't protect them from everything even though you would like too!
