Going's On.....

Not to much has been going on here. Just regular every day activities! Here are just some random pics of Lawson throughout the week.
He has a little shovel and pail that he carries around everywhere!! I mean everywhere, to the store, the doctor, to bed, eating.......It is so funny. You know how some kids have blankets or stuff animals they carry? Well Lawson has his shovel and pail:) We also got him a few muscle -T's on sale at Old Navy, and I think that he looks too cute in them! haha
A couple times a week he plays in the water, so we will get out the sprinkler and just let him play. Like most babies, he loves the water.


He is such a funny kid with such a funny personality. He found his old winter hat and decided that he just had to wear it.... for most of the day!

Other things that have been going on are:
Scott has started school again today. Boooooooo....... He has decided to go to some summer school. I am a little bummed but it will be all worth it. I got called in my ward to be a primary teacher! Wowwa. I think that they are just trying to get me to go to church! hahaha........jk So we will see how that goes..........Well that is about it for us! I hope everyone is doing great:)

Losing my mind....

I swear that I am just losing it sometimes.... I know that sometimes that I am oblivious to the world around me, but man I have had a few rough days...even weeks!:) hahaha... On Friday Lawson and I went to the store and when we got back I accidentally locked Lawson, my keys, and my cell phone in the car!! I had to go to the neighbors and use their phone to call Scott. Thankfully he was in town working. He came and broke Laws free! Then on Monday I locked us out of the house. We were going to go for a walk and I forgot something so I tried to open the door and it was locked! All of the doors and windows were locked! This time I did have my cell phone and called Scott but he was 45min. away.... So Laws and I waited for him to come and rescue us again! Needless to say Scott is making us a spare key as I type! Poor Lawson....He has been through a lot thanks to me:) Sometimes it surprises me that I am a mom, but apparently that is what I am supposed to be doing and I really would not have it any other way.... hahaha... I just try to do the best I can.
We all went up to B.C. canyon this weekend and had fun just being outside. Lawson loved it. We also found a swing hanging from a huge tree so of course Scott and I had to take a few turns... It was sooo much fun we haven't laughed so hard in a long time!

Crazy Coupla Days

It has been a crazy couple of days around here. Between being sick with the flu, not having our internet working for several days, and getting Lawson's little hand chomped up in the vacuum. Yeah, it's been crazazay!
The weekend started out to be a great one. On Saturday it was warm and the sun was shining so we decided to pull some weeds, relax.....
and of course break out the froggie pool!

We even let Lawson run around in all his glory................ahhh to be a baby........
Then on Saturday night we all took a turn for the worst. It started with me at about ten at night. I started to feel a little yucky and decided to try to go to bed. Well, not long after that I found myself in the bathroom having the flu........ A couple hours later Scott was next then soon after that we heard poor Lawson boy throwing up in his crib:( We were all up all night being sick. It was probably the worst night in a long time. It was an extra long weekend. Good thing is that it didn't last too long for Scott and I, we were pretty much better by Monday night. Bad thing is Lawson really didn't feel better till Wednesday. But, we are all doing great and soooo glad that it is over with!


This is a bad picture but on Tuesday night I thought that I would try to clean and pick up the house a bit after our fiasco. I decided that I would just hurry and vacuum the stairs. I was about half way up and had my little attachment out and was trying to hurry and get it done. Lawson was behind me and I didn't really think anything of it. Then I heard him just scream. I turned around and he had his little had up underneath the vacuum!!! I screamed and tried to turn it off. By the time I finally turned it off he had his hand out and was crying.... Ohhhh I felt soooooooooo HORRIBLE........ I am so glad that the damage wasn't too bad. He just rubbed some skin off on the bottom of his little fingers:( Poor kid...... I felt like such a horrible mom letting my kid stick his had in the vacuum...................................................
