Zoo Fun & Mom's Day

We had a pretty laid back Mother's Day. Scott was so nice and took on the "duties" for me today! It was nice to get a little break. Thanks Scott!! I am so greatful that I have my little boy. It isn't always easy and loads of fun.....but it is so worth it!




We have been wanting to go to the Hogle Zoo for a looong time. Saturday was finally a nice enough day that we got to go. I guess that is one of the nice things about living up here in Brigham is that you are not too far away from Salt Lake or any other "big" cities. It is about and hour or so away so you can always find something fun to do without driving to far. We arrived at the Zoo at about 10 in the morning, it wasn't to busy yet, so that was nice. We got to see pretty much everything without a huge crowd. Lawson loved loved loved the zoo. He loved to run around and look at all the animals and try to make the noises that they made. I must say that he has the elephant down to a T. He had soooo much fun and it was so fun to watch him. One bad thing though is that I left the battery in the charger for my camera. I was so mad...... I grabbed the camera and thought that I had everything ready, but no, I forgot to grab the battery from the charger!!! Bahhh so we had to buy one of those disposable camera's and use it. It was almost embarrassing.... Whippin' out our little dispose while everyone had their digital and huge professional cameras. Hahaha oh well we had a fun!!
